Bill Scott
He has over 30 years’ experience in Policy work specialising in poverty, inequality and disability. I have worked with policy and decision makers both at a Scottish and UK level. As a former Chair of the Poverty and Inequality for Scotland I am on good terms with several current Cabinet Secretaries and lead officials.
Bill is a prominent figure in Scottish social policy, particularly in the areas of inclusion, disability rights, and poverty alleviation. He has worked with policy and decision makers both at a Scottish and UK level.
Through his work with Inclusion Scotland and the Poverty & Inequality Commission, he has made a significant impact on both policy and public awareness. He has been a powerful voice in advancing disability inclusion, challenging systemic barriers, and pushing for greater social and economic equality.
He can count several legislative and policy changes which have been the direct consequence of his work.
